BALLET/TAP/JAZZ

• Dancers should wear a leotard (any color). Skirts and tights are optional. NO costumes or dresses.
• Pink leather ballet shoes and black Mary Jane style tap shoes are required for all Preschool classes. Ballet shoes with no strings are preferred. 

HIP HOP/ACRO 

• Leotard is required. No tights. We recommended wearing layers over the leotard for the hip hop portion of the class. 
• Tennis shoes/sneakers are required for hip hop. Dancers will take off their shoes for the acro portion of the class. 

TUMBLING

• Fitted leotard. Fitted leggings are acceptable but no tights or skirts.

BOYS

• Ballet/Tap/Jazz: Black ballet shoes, black lace-up tap shoes, white or black shirt with black shorts or pants.
• Hip Hop/Acro: Clothing that allows for free movement that won't limit acrobatic movements. Wear tennis shoes for hip hop portion.

MUSIC

• Any clothing that allows for comfort and movement.

HIP HOP

• T-shirts, tanks, and athletic jerseys are permitted.
• Sweat pants (length should cover the knee), athletic pants, or shorts are preferred.
• Tennis shoes or sneakers are required.

BALLET

• All ballet classes require a leotard and ballet shoes (we prefer split-sole canvas shoes).
• Theatrical pink tights should be worn under leotard.
• Hair must be pulled up into a tight bun.

CONTEMPORARY/LYRICAL/JAZZ

• Dance apparel is required for all students in a lyrical class. Examples include leggings, tank top, dance shorts, dance tops, and sports bras. Layers are permitted.
• Pirouettes or jazz shoes are permitted.
• Hair should be secured back away from the face.

BALLET/TAP COMBO

• Ballet dress code does not apply to this class.
• Students can wear any color fitted dance apparel.
• Pink ballet shoes are required, as well as black Mary Jane style tap shoes.

JAZZ/ TUMBLE COMBO

• Students can wear any color fitted dance apparel.
• Pirouettes or jazz shoes are required for the jazz portion of class.
• Students will be barefoot for tumbling portion.

MUSICAL THEATRE

• Dance apparel is required. Examples include leggings, tank top, dance shorts, dance tops, and sports bras. Layers are permitted.
• Students will need tan jazz shoes.
• Hair should be secured away from the face.

TAP

• Dance apparel is required. Examples include leggings, tank top, dance shorts, dance tops, and sports bras. Layers are permitted.
• Students will need black lace up tap shoes. (Mini classes can wear Mary Jane style tap shoes)

ACRO

• Fitted apparel that allows for full range of movement Examples include leggings, dance shorts, fitted dance tops, or sports bras. Please do not wear anything baggy (no jeans, t-shirts or sweatpants)
• Students will be barefoot.
• Hair must be secured up and out of student’s face.

BOYS

• Ballet – White Shirt and Black shorts or pants. Black ballet shoes and white socks.
• Tap – Black or white shirt and shorts or pants. Black tap shoes.
• Combo – Black or white shirt and shorts or pants. Black Jazz shoes and tap shoes.
• Hip Hop – Baggy or comfortable clothes are great for this class. No jeans. Tennis shoes/sneakers are required.
• Acro – Fitted clothing, not too baggy. No Jeans. Barefoot.
