About
Emma Loy began her dance career in preschool, and grew to dancing competitively and being a part of the student assistant program, where she gained the building blocks for a career as a dance educator. She is proud to have studied under many teachers in the Nashville area, and received her certificate in Commercial Entertainment from Columbia state in 2017. Two weeks after finishing her certificate, she moved to Paris France, where she worked for Disneyland Paris as a Parade dancer and character performer for two years. After moving back to Nashville to dance professionally, she discovered that her true passion is in teaching. Beyond her college and professional experience, Emma continued her education and became an Acrobatic arts certified instructor, and is certified to teach all levels of the curriculum. She is also certified with Progressing Ballet Technique, Progressing Contemporary Technique, and Youth Protection Advocacy in Dance; and is currently finishing her bachelors in science in dance from MTSU. While she loves helping students achieve their potential and take the steps to start a career in the arts, her goal is to make dance a safe, positive environment for all of her students where they can grow, unlock creativity, and develop a life-long love for movement.
