Darby, Piano Student for 4 Years

Darby is a very devoted student. As a mom of 2 young children, I love seeing how she prioritizes herself by taking piano lessons, and how she makes practicing a priority. She says it relaxes her and gives her a sense of achievement. She has performed in every showcase since she started, as a way of pushing herself to do things outside of her comfort zone.

She just had her four-year “ROOTSiversary,” and I’m so proud of her commitment to music and herself!  She definitely deserves to be celebrated!

ROOTS Boys Crew is an all boys, high-energy hip hop class that meets on Wednesday nights.

Recently, the class has been focusing on their rhythm, footwork and musicality.

These guys work so hard and have a blast in class with Deavon!

Kira Fargas has this gentle and kind spirit about her.

She instructs her students with such grace and knowledge.

She has gains the kids respect by listening to them and caring for them not only dancers but individuals.

Every time I see Maria Logan, she’s got a smile on her face. Her warmth and grace in every situation is something I admire so much about her.

We’ll definitely miss her presence in our hallways, but I wish her the absolute best on her next adventure!
