ROOTS Academy is conveniently located in the heart of Cool Springs on the Brentwood and Franklin borders, near the Cool Springs Galleria mall. Our campus includes two adjacent buildings, and we offer space rentals based on availability.

Dance Studios
All six dance studios feature sprung floors with Harlequin Marley, full-length mirrors, adjustable overhead lighting, and professional sound systems. Ballet barres, tumbling mats, and other dance-related equipment are available to rent at no extra cost.

Music & Band Studios
We offer 15 practice studios and one band rehearsal space fully equipped with instruments and a professional sound system.
Lobbies
We provide four lobby areas—two in each building—featuring comfortable seating, tables for homework or remote work, high-speed Wi-Fi, filtered water, coffee, hot chocolate, and a vending machine in the main building.

Frequently Asked Questions
Renting our space means that your event attendees are in direct agreement to do business with you, not with ROOTS Academy. Because of this, you are legally liable for any incidences that could occur during your rental, including but not limited to bodily injury, associated medical costs, personal injury, and damage to ROOTS property.
We have been advised by our lawyer and insurance company to require proof of liability insurance by any and all renters.
The insurance required is commonly referred to as General liability insurance and is also known as commercial general liability (CGL).
The purpose of this insurance is to protect you and your business from another person or business’s claims of bodily injury, associated medical costs, personal injury, and damage to property.
The cost of this insurance will be around $250 per year. If you already have CGL, then you’re covered, as long as you are insured at least $1M per instance (often the minimum offered by insurance companies).
All renters must provide proof of a $1,000,000 liability insurance policy naming ROOTS Academy as a beneficiary. See the screenshot below for what this looks like.
Generally, we have studio availability on the following days and times (subject to change without notice):
- Monday – 8am – 4pm
- Tuesday – 8am – 4pm
- Wednesday – 8am – 4pm
- Thursday – 8am – 4pm
- Friday – 8am – 10pm
- Saturday – 8am – 4pm (or later upon request)
- Sunday – 8am – 10pm (Annex only)
We have various dance and acro-related equipment available for dance-related activities. If you are using our music studios, sound equipment and instruments are available upon request. There will be a small equipment rental deposit and fee for the use of this equipment.
Generally speaking, we have a minimum rental fee of $250, but will make exceptions from time to time.
The actual rental cost is determined by a number of variables. There isn’t a flat fee for all uses.

Between our two parking lots, we have nearly 100 parking spaces available for large events. Street parking is also available.
